For this souvenir jacket, the item is piece-dyed without the zipper before being finally assembled.
This causes the color of the fabric and embroidery to fade, giving the base fabric and accent a uniform look and creating a subdued, vintage feel.
The collar, cuffs, and hem are inset with a 70% acrylic/30% wool fabric.
There is no internal batting, so the jacket is not bulky or puffy. It wears clean and close to the body.
The front zipper moves smoothly, and won’t get stuck, with rounded edges to protect the fabric.
The front and reverse sides of the hips feature curved, welted pockets reinforced with triangular, gusseted stitches.
